Delete your Habitate account
Delete it yourself (fastest)
- Open Habitate in the Android app, or sign in at habitateos.com on any device with the same Google account.
- Go to Settings → Data & Privacy.
- Optionally use Export your data to download a copy first.
- Choose Delete my account and confirm.
This works even if you no longer have the Android app installed.
Ask us to delete it
If you can't sign in, email [CONTACT EMAIL] from the email address on your Google account with the subject "Delete my Habitate account". We confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in record.
- Everything you added: tasks, schedules, records, lists, notes, settings and history.
- Photos and documents you uploaded.
- Stored Google connection tokens, integration credentials, your plan and AI usage records.
- Any card subscription is cancelled. A Google Play subscription must be cancelled in the Play Store.
What is kept, and for how long
- Lists shared with a household stay with the other members (they are copied back to you before deletion and then deleted from your account).
- Purchase records our payment processors (Stripe, Google Play) must keep for tax and accounting, held by them under their own policies.
- Short-lived server logs and routine backups, which expire on their normal schedule (within 30 days).
Tasks already copied to your Google Tasks or Google Calendar stay in your Google account; remove them there. Deleting Habitate does not delete your Google account.
